On International Yoga Day 2024, Kangana Ranaut, the well-known actress and newly elected Member of Parliament from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, shared exciting news that has stirred up excitement among locals and wellness enthusiasts.

She announced on social media her ambitious plan to open a top-notch yoga institute in Mandi, timed to launch alongside her swearing-in ceremony on June 24.

In a video message to her followers, Kangana Ranaut thanked everyone celebrating International Yoga Day worldwide.

She credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for popularizing the event globally.

She also expressed concern about the lack of proper yoga facilities in Himachal Pradesh, especially in Mandi, despite the area’s deep spiritual heritage and stunning natural landscapes.

“The reason tourists can’t fully enjoy Mandi’s spiritual beauty is because there’s no proper yoga center,” Ranaut explained with passion.

She described her plan for the institute, focusing on how it will promote overall health through yoga, Ayurveda, and detox methods, taking advantage of the area’s clean air and nutritious food.

She wants Mandi to become famous worldwide as a center for ancient Indian culture. This includes offering classes on ancient texts like the Vedas and Upanishads.

Inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, she imagines a place that not only teaches but also celebrates India’s rich cultural heritage. This includes everything from classical music and traditional folk arts to theater.

Seeking input from her supporters, Kangana Ranaut asked for ideas on how to design the institute to meet local needs.

Her plan to create a global-level yoga center in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, has gained a lot of support. People are excited about how it could boost the area’s economy and culture.

In her video, Ranaut interacted directly with her audience, urging them to participate in the vision for Mandi’s future.

“I want Mandi to be recognized globally as a symbol of our rich Sanatan culture,” she passionately stated. “Your thoughts and ideas matter. Let’s work together to make this dream a reality.”
