Fans Excited as Baltimore Ravens Reveal New Purple and Gold Helmet for the 2024 Season
The Baltimore Ravens have just revealed a new purple helmet that they will wear for the first time during the 2024 NFL season. This is a big change for the team, as they have only worn black helmets since 1996.
The new Purple Rising helmet is purple with two gold stripes running down the middle and a gold facemask.
It also features the Ravens’ secondary logo, a front-facing raven head, on both sides. This logo is special because it is often used during game day events, like player introductions.
Brad Downs, the Ravens’ Senior Vice President of Marketing, shared details about the design process.
He said, “We listened to what our fans wanted and tried to create something they would love.” He also mentioned that they looked at 14 different designs before picking the final one.
The Ravens wanted to make sure their fans would be happy with the new helmet. Downs said that fans have been asking for something new for a long time, and the team wanted to give them something exciting while still keeping the traditional feel of the team.
The new helmet will be worn with the Ravens’ purple “Color Rush” uniforms.
These uniforms have gold numbers outlined in white and black, and pants with white and gold stripes. The gold on the helmet matches the gold on the uniforms, making the whole outfit look sharp and coordinated.
The Ravens have said that they will wear the new helmet for one game in the 2024 season, but they haven’t said which game it will be yet. This mystery adds to the excitement for fans who are eager to see the new look in action.
