Today, the creators of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba announced that the series will end with three special movies. This news came after the fourth season’s exciting finale, which aired today. The movies will cover the big Infinity Castle Arc, starting the final chapter of Tanjiro Kamado’s story.

Instead of a fifth season, the Demon Slayer team will finish the story with three movies. A short teaser trailer shows the winding hallways of Muzan Kibutsuji’s Infinity Castle, hinting at the big battles to come. The movies will be directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with Akira Matsushima as the Chief Animation Director and Character Designer. The music will be composed by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will release the trilogy globally, except in some Asian markets. Rahul Purini, President of Crunchyroll, is excited about the project, calling it a major cultural event. This global release will let fans around the world enjoy the movies at the same time.

The Infinity Castle Arc will show intense battles inside Muzan Kibutsuji’s castle.
