Eddie Murphy, Joined by Daughters and Fiancée, Celebrates Return as Axel Foley in ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’ Premiere
Last night, Eddie Murphy, the famous comedian from Hollywood, attended the glamorous world premiere of Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F with his daughters Bria, Shayne Audra, and Bella, and his fiancée Paige Butcher. The event took place at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
The premiere was a special moment as Eddie returned as Axel Foley in the fourth ‘Beverly Hills Cop‘ movie.
With cameras flashing and fans cheering, Murphy’s family made it even more personal. Bria Murphy had a significant role, appearing alongside her father in the film.
“I’m really excited to play Axel again,” Eddie Murphy told reporters on the red carpet. “Having my daughters here tonight, especially Bria who’s in the movie with me, makes this night even more special.”
Directed by Craig Brewer, ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’ combines action and comedy as Axel Foley comes back to Beverly Hills to protect his daughter Jane from a dangerous plan.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience,” Bria Murphy shared excitedly. “Working with my dad and being part of such an iconic series has been a dream come true.”
He walked the red carpet with his fellow actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kevin Bacon, Judge Reinhold, and Paul Reiser, all of whom played important roles in the movie.
Murphy, famous for his funny personality, shared some funny stories from the filming, like a scene where his son-in-law Michael Xavier used a taser on him.
The premiere also served as a reunion for Murphy with old friends from the franchise, including Judge Reinhold and Paul Reiser, who reprised their roles as Billy Rosewood and Det. Jeffrey Friedman, respectively.
“It’s like a family reunion,” Reinhold remarked, “and Eddie’s energy on set is infectious. He brings out the best in everyone.”
