Levitation Festival 2024 Announces Big Lineup for Halloween Weekend

The Levitation Festival has just announced its exciting lineup for 2024. The event will take place from October 31 to November 3 at different places around Austin.

This year’s festival will have a mix of famous bands and new artists, making it a great event for music lovers.

Big names like Slowdive, the Jesus Lizard, and Soccer Mommy will be headlining the festival. They will be joined by electronic artist Tycho, guitarist Mdou Moctar, and chillwave musician Washed Out.

The Black Angels, who started the festival, will also perform.

Osees will play every night at Hotel Vegas, bringing a lot of energy to the event. French jazz group Cortex, who have been rediscovered recently, will perform three times with Adrian Younge from Jazz Is Dead, offering a special jazz experience.

Besides the headliners, the festival will feature many other artists from various music styles. The Chameleons will play their 1986 album “Strange Times” from start to finish, and shoegaze band Drop Nineteens will also perform.

Other acts include Dry Cleaning, A Place To Bury Strangers, Boris, Acid Mothers Temple, Nilüfer Yanya, and many others, ensuring a wide range of music from post-punk to experimental rock.

New artists like Ringo Deathstarr, Illuminati Hotties, Panchiko, and Wu Lu will add fresh sounds to the festival. For the first time, there will be DJ sets at the new downtown Austin venue Kingdom, featuring DJs like the Dare, Axel Boman, and Patrick Holland.
